Clay gives Stefanie abundant opportunities to reflect her surroundings, the environment we live in and the structure of the society.
Her work wants to be beautiful, sometimes witty, comfortable to look at and certainly not to be taken too seriously. However, you shall always see her respect for the material itself as for the source of the inspiration. respect for the underprivileged cultures on this globe without denial of ourselves.
As a ceramic designer, her work is shaped by her experiences, beliefs and skills. Clay drives her subconsciously into the creation of something like "contemporary tribal sculpture" for your lounge room. Spontaneous ideas have always proven to be the best way of working for Stefanie. As she is an unpretentious person, so is her work. You get what you see.
