Josephine Pittman b. 1976, ................. STATEMENT As science evolves into technologies such as cloning and genetics, the meaning of what it is to be human is redefined. In the twenty-first century, the internal battleground provides the scene for a constant struggle against a bombardment of external invaders. The military body is augmented by new weapons of biological defence, but with scientific advancement comes a fine balance between internal peace and the total chaos of rampant mutating cells.
